‘Vulgaria’ trailer is crazysexycool

Hong Kong movies are often way over the top, but this one might top them all. Vulgaria is a new meta-comedy directed by Pang Ho-cheung with an absolutely irresistible premise: a producer is desperate to get back on top, so he teams up with a Triad gang leader to make one last film, a remake of a notorious 70s sleaze classic. And then things go wildly out of control. Like “being forced to have sex with a donkey” out of control. It’s rare that Hong Kong movies get theatrical releases here, but Vulgaria will hit selected markets September 28th.
