What the hell is ‘The Obama Effect’?
K. Thor Jensen This is a real movie that real people made. And it opens today. Making money off of Barack Obama is no new thing, but a whole motion picture? I’m not sure what to think about The Obama Effect, a drama about a man (played by Charles S. Dutton) who has a heart attack and uses it as an impulse to change his life… by getting obsessed with getting Barack Obama elected. And, for some reason, this alienates every black person around him. Did this really happen? Katt Williams is in it as well… as a Republican. So this is sci-fi then? So confused.
