The Guyism Spotify Playlist inducts two more songs to its hallowed halls. Today, it’s “Gun Has No Trigger” by Dirty Projectors and “Mean Spirits” by Silversun Pickups. Listen to both now!

Reasons for selection:

1) Big fan of the brassy sounds on the Dirty Projectors song. It’s a little whiny vocally but the melodies make up for it, in my ever-so-humble opinion.

2) I’ve always loved the Silversun Pickups and was shocked/horrified to find out the lead singer is a man. But they’re awesome and their new album ‘Neck of the Woods’ was released on Tuesday.
