Eminem has a new music video

The teenager in me wants to be happy that Eminem is back but the 20 year-old in me just remembers how awful his last album was and how fat he got. But I’ll reserve judgment for now..the first single off Eminem’s new album Relapse has a video. Here’s “We Made You.”

I can’t say I like the song that much, though it has it moments. The reality is that hip hop has changed man. It’s more of an art form now. Like before Eminem was different because he rapped humorously and with emotion while everyone else was busy trying to be a thug or brag about their possessions. But now, rappers are talking about things they own, and how tough they are AND also creating ridiculous dances to accompany their songs. How can you possibly compete? Perhaps if Eminem had attached some sort of dance where you kick your leg into the air then try to fingerf a chick with a big gut and a huge ass (the Pig-Settler is the name I’d go with), then we’d have something. You’ve got to learn to adapt, kids.
