Clips of President Obama have been spliced together to do ‘”Sexy and I Know It,” “Born This Way,” and other pop hits. So OF COURSE they also had to do “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen. Here it is.

It’s still impressive that they’re able to do this with clips of President Obama speaking but I think we get the point now. You can manipulate clips with text into popular songs. Cool. Unless the next one is “Straight Out of Compton,” I’ve seen enough.

The Internet has ruined Carly Rae Jepsen for me, too. What once was a catchy little Canadian bit of guilty pleasure is now an obnoxious reminder of how cliché pop culture is. It’s not you, Carly. It’s just not working out.
