VIDEO: Guy in Magneto costume covers “Born This Way” in an X-Men fashion
Chris Spags Is there anything a guy dressed up in a mediocre Magneto costume can’t do? Probably not, if we’re going to use this video of some dude doing a parody of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” in just such a fashion choice.
I find this more stirring than Lady Gaga’s original. Sure, people with crazy superpowers might not exist. But the plight of mutants (and fans of the recent mediocre X-Men movies) is equally as interesting to me as an anthem for acceptance put over a disco beat that Madonna made famous decades ago. Sorry if I’m not won over by the idea of finding my tolerance and appreciation for other people in a overly jazzy defiant song by a white chick who went to NYU who currently wears dresses made of meat and muppets.
