Want: ThinkGeek’s iPad joystick

Will Brinson

You know what’s awesome about an iPad? Being able to play Madden portably. You know what sucks about an iPad? Having to try and play Madden with my fat fingers while swiping them all over the damn screen.

This applies to pretty much any game, and that’s why God Al Gore the guys at ThinkGeek invited the iPad joystick.

Full disclosure: I haven’t used this yet, but I just bought one, because I want to use it, and last time I tried to buy one, they were sold out.

So, if you’re interested in not playing games the way that kindergarteners fingerpaint, you should probably check out ThinkGeek’s product.

Protip: if you get to the site and they’re already sold out of the joysticks, you can get on the email list and get alerted whenever they get some back in stock.

Of course, this will lead you — like me — to plan on randomly spending about $50 in the near future. I’ll have a review as soon as I get a chance to play around with them, but if you absolutely can’t wait to build your Sims 7 City until I get done working that puppy up, hustle over to Think Geek and get your order on.

What'd you think of this?
