‘Arrow’ teaser reel hits a bullseye
Who would have thought that Green Arrow would get his own TV show in 2012? Crazy world. So Arrow is a bonafide hit for the CW, drawing the biggest ratings of any premiere on the network in three years. I guess with Smallville gone, people are hungry for more street-level superhero action on the small screen. At last weekend’s New York Comic-Con, the network premiered a teaser reel for the rest of the season, and it looks pretty slick. The show steps back from the absurd world of Smallville to give us a gritter take on the DC universe, and hopefully it’ll keep getting good ratings. Arrow airs Wednesday nights on the CW.
