HBO’s Boardwalk Empire is a show I caught up on after reading about the insane season two finale and was instantly hooked on. So, in an effort to slowly make you join me on the bandwagon, check out these first photos from the show’s new season slated to debut September 16th.

Based on these pictures, it’s safe to assume a lot of people will make vaguely menacing faces and that the show will not, in fact, feature time travel to the distant future. Mark that off on your Boardwalk Empire spoiler list.
