The 6 most annoying celebrity chefs

I’m not sure where most of the following celebrity chefs live, but if I were to wager a guess I’d have to go with Douche Bag City. For some reason, it seems that having a big ego or giant phony personality is your ticket to fame in the world of culinary cuisine. Of all the annoying celebrity chefs in the world, here are the six that piss us off the most:
1 Bobby Flay
Bobby Flay is a chef primarily known for his grilling. He’s enjoyed tremendous success – hosting no less than seven Food Network shows. Sadly, it would seem that Flay believes he deserves all this success, because the only thing bigger than his bank account is his giant ego. Pompous, spoiled and a poor winner, Bobby Flay could really benefit from a big ‘ol serving of humble pie.
2 Emeril Lagasse
Sure, Emeril Lagasse is talented (most people on this list are). And unlike others on this list, I could see him being a nice enough guy. However, Emeril is single-handedly responsible for creating one of the most annoying catchphrases in history – BAM! A few years ago, this catchphrase caught on like wildfire and spread like a virus from coast to coast. Thankfully, around the time Emeril did those awful Crest toothpaste commercials, the nation tired of his gimmick and the spell of his chubby Cajun charm was lifted.
3 Sandra Lee
You know that friend’s mom you have that is just way too perky and wholesome for her own good? Yeah, well that mom is Sandra Lee. As an example of how nauseating this personality is, let it be known that Sandra makes an effort to match her outfits with the décor of her kitchen. If you need any more evidence of how annoying she is, just watch this video:
4 Rachael Ray
There’s been plenty of backlash during Rachael Ray’s rise to fame. Whether it’s her annoying catchphrases (EVOO, Yum-O, etc.) or overly cheery attitude, there’s something about that perpetual smile that rubs people the wrong way. Her overexposure a few years ago led to the formation of a complete online community devoted to hating her (RRSux.com, which has since been removed). Such a rabid base of loyal haters is sign enough that she deserves to be on this list.
5 Gordon Ramsay
Oh, you have a bad temper, how endearing. This ridiculous hot-head has been eating souls and making kids cry on television for the better part of the last decade. Only a man with an enormous ego and inability to feel empathy towards others would run a kitchen the way Ramsay does (note: lack of feelings and narcissism are two key traits of a psychopath). If we’re lucky, maybe Ramsay will give himself an aneurism and make his way down to the seventh circle of Hell where he belongs.
6 Guy Fieri
If anyone deserved to be the mayor of Douche Bag City, Guy Fieri would be it. From his Applebee’s commercials and bleached spiky hair to the silly goatee and endless stockpile of bowling shirts, this guy takes the cake when it comes to annoying celebrity chefs. For some reason, Guy’s fame continues to rise, as NBC’s decision to have him host their “Minute to Win It” game show now places him in primetime television. Let’s all hope it gets cancelled.
