Can you win an Emmy award for a single scene? A scene that features you talking nonsensically while eating green beans? The answer is yes. Yes you can and yes you should.

On last night’s episode of Breaking Bad, Walter tells Jesse to stay for dinner, much to the chagrin of wife Skyler. What followed was perhaps the most awkward dinner scene in TV history. For a solid two minutes, Jesse talks about how much he loves green beans, how much frozen food he eats and the scabby cheese from microwaved lasagna. The only interruption was a brief admittance from Skyler that she, in fact, did not even make the green beans having bought it at the store. For his part, Walter, continuously stares, uttering not a single word.
