VIDEO: Zach Galifianakis smokes weed on “Real Time with Bill Maher”
Chris Spags If you’re not into politics or recreational drug use, there’s a pretty big ballot coming up in California this week called Proposition 19, a bill that, if voted through, would result in the relative legalization of marijuana. So stoner funny man Zach Galifianakis went on Bill Maher’s show this week to show his thoughts..by smoking a joint on live TV.
Good for him. I get that people are really passionate about this issue because, well, we all love pot. And it’s pretty brazen for him to legitimately smoke pot on live television. But is “Real Time with Bill Maher” really the place to make a powerful political statement to define a cause? It’s like if I figured out how to cure cancer and then put the medicine’s ingredients in the inside of every copy of William Hung’s autobiography.
