$128M Powerball ticket goes unclaimed after being bought at porn store
Chris Spags Over the weekend, a Michigan Powerball jackpot of $128.6 million was won by someone who purchased the ticket at a store that sells porn movies, sex toys, and more. Small problem: No one’s come forward to claim it.
A ticket bought at Highland Park’s Uptown Bookstore had the winning numbers of Saturday night’s Powerball drawing.
Though the store specializes in adult toys and media, it also draws consumers in to a street-side window that locals can buy tickets from instead. So it’s possible that the winning ticket may have been bought by someone who doesn’t dabble in dildos and assplay.
However, no one has come forward, leaving locals to wonder who the winner is and what he or she is hiding.
Michigan state laws require that winners cannot remain anonymous so the person’s identity will be revealed at some point. But lottery officials are wondering when that time may come.
As for me, if there were a $128-million Powerball ticket that I had in my possession, I could have bought it from Jimmy’s House of Man-on-Man Anal Sex and Waffles (the waffles are a lovely way to cleanse your palate) and I’d be completely willing to come forward. For that much money, you could buy a memory-erasing device like “Men in Black” to make everyone forget that you bought the ticket along with a copy of “Flat-Chested Skanks with Bad Bowel Movements 17,” no problem.
