Airport body scanner used by creep to check out female coworker
As soon as the full x-ray body scanners hit airports, it was painfully obvious that they’d HAVE to be used by someone (or a lot of someones) to check out either fliers or coworkers in the nude. And here’s one of the first workplace incidents as a result…a Heathrow airport worker took a photo of a coworker as she went through the full-body scanner. Now, he’s in a wee bit of trouble.
The police have issued a warning for harassment against an airport worker after he allegedly took a photo of a female colleague as she went through a full-body scanner at Heathrow airport.
The incident, which occurred at terminal 5 on 10 March, is believed to be the first time an airport worker has been formally disciplined for misusing the scanners.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “Police received an allegation regarding an incident that happened at Heathrow Terminal 5 on March 10. A first-instance harassment warning has been issued to a 25-year-old male.”
The BAA employee took a photo of his co-worker, Jo Margetson, when she inadvertently went through a scanner.
“I can’t bear to think about the body scanner thing,” she told the Sun. “I’m totally traumatised. I’ve spoken to the police about it. I’m in too much of a state to go to work.”
I’d definitely agree that this presumably-foxy lady went through a bit of an ordeal here. But to say that you’re totally traumatized just because a coworker saw your blue, nude body seems like you’re just being dramatic for a lawsuit. No, I don’t want to be seen with my stuff flopping about (or wrapped around my wrist like a watch as I usually prefer to store my genitals), but it’s an occupational hazard when you work in a place where stupid people work and evil people bring in bombs attached to their testes. If you didn’t want to be seen nude in an x-ray machine, maybe you should have gone to college.
