Argentina’s female president says pork is better than Viagra

Apparently hacky comedians have been wrong for years with their litany of Viagra jokes: At a recent televised speech, Argentina’s president Cristina Fernandez declared that she had recently learned pork was better than Viagra and that “things went well for her [the weekend that she ate pork], so it might be true.” Here’s to pig and sex-related sciences finally coming together (legally and not in Alabama)!

Argentina’s president recommended pork as an alternative to Viagra Wednesday, saying she spent a satisfying weekend with her husband after eating barbecued pork.

“I’ve just been told something I didn’t know; that eating pork improves your sex life … I’d say it’s a lot nicer to eat a bit of grilled pork than take Viagra,” President Cristina Fernandez said to leaders of the pig farming industry.

She said she recently ate pork and “things went very well that weekend, so it could well be true.”

“Trying it doesn’t cost anything, so let’s give it a go,” Fernandez said in the televised speech.

Is that a come-on Madame President? You’re a married woman and I’m just an innocent commoner. Oh, you sly aging-with-beauty fox. I will eat a ham and be right over. I assume your guards will see my pork-induced arousal and merely high five me and escort me right in.

The pork versus Viagra debate isn’t without selfish rationale; the Argentine government has been pushing pork as an alternative to more expensive steaks for years. Which is kind of confusing. I’ve always found that steak is much cheaper than paying for a good porking! *tugs on rainbow suspenders* Am I right, folks?
