Guys shot with 21,000 paintballs for…charity?

According to non-profit organization PovertyResolutions, 21,000 kids each day die due to poverty related causes. So they allowed themselves to get shot by 21,000 paintballs to raise awareness. Sure, why not.

Raising poverty awareness obviously seems like a good idea. And getting shot by 21,000 paintballs is obviously a cool visual. The thought is there but I’m just not sure I get the tie-in. It’s like someone getting hit with a baseball bat to help the homeless or have their testicles stomped to stop sexual abuse. Well, maybe the latter might be effective depending upon who’s getting stomped. But still.
