Indian woman fined for “defaming husband’s manhood”
In America, women get away with saying a lot of awful things about men. But other cultures are not as gynocentric. Evidence: A woman was fined 200,000 rupees (about $4,200 US) for “defaming her husband’s manhood.”
A judge in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh ruled against Vandana Gurjar for comments about her estranged husband Hemant Chhalotre’s alleged impotence.
The damages for the suit stemmed from Chhaltore’s claims that the accusations of impotence had “rendered him unmarriageable and sullied his prestige.” [ED. NOTE: Women..always sullying your prestige.] According to The Telegraph, the amount awarded to Chhalotre is more than the average annual income in India.
The lawsuit is the culmination of almost a decade of problems between Gurjar and Chhalotre. The couple married nine years ago but Gurjar left after three months, saying that she was unable to achieve “conjugal bliss due to Mr. Chhalotre being impotent.”
Out of fear of owing an amount roughly equivalent to India’s GDP to Mr. Chhalotre, I wish him and his turgid genitals the best in his quest to satisfy all the ladies of India. No penis like a floaty pool noodle there, no sir!
