You’re a 19 year-old kid and a video game you were anxiously awaiting isn’t as good as you hoped. Do you: A) Move on with your life, slightly disappointed but accepting or B) Punch the wall like a little girl, cry, then post it on YouTube. If you selected B, congratulations on your brand new ovaries, like the kid in this video who cries over Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
I particularly enjoyed how he appears to have dressed up for his big YouTube viral video. When the world is seeing you act like a sissy over a video game and breaking your knuckles on a wall, then crying over it, you want to make sure to look your best. I can’t imagine that number of women who saw this video and thought, “Boy, normally I wouldn’t allow this kid into my pants based on his tirade, but he looks so cool in his sweater! Oh I guess I can let your emotional immaturity and desperate please for attention slide just this once. Love that sweater!”
If any of you out there are the impressionable type and think this is a good idea, let me remind you: This isn’t good attention. People will remember this and it will live online forever. The momentary glimpses of attention aren’t worth it. It’s not a good type of attention. You’d be better off stabbing a clown in broad daylight. That’s probably also bad attention, but at least you stabbed that clown. If Hitler killed clowns, he’d probably have been just a dude with an interesting mustache.
