Aussie 65-year-old named “World’s Hottest Grandma”

British Zoo Magazine put out a call to its readers looking for the World’s Sexiest Grandmother. After some searching, they’ve selected 65-year-old Australian Leila Benussi as the holder of the crown (and, presumably, withered ovaries).

Her husband, George, sent some photos of Leila in her swimsuit to try to show off the goods. A couple weeks later, Leila was named Zoo’s “Hottest Grandmother.”

Leila told the Courier Mail, “My husband talked me into it. He said there weren’t many women with a body like mine at my age.”

Leila began working out at age 57 to try to aid her chronic arthritis, which is typically the story you expect from someone being recognized as a sex symbol. Zoo awarded her with a $5000 prize in recognition for her contributions for GILFkind.

I don’t want to crap on Zoo for their methods of finding the World’s Sexiest Grandmother but, really, this is the best we could do? I get they wanted someone who looks like she’d provide you with cookies and sugar candies, but there are probably a fair amount of slutty 34-year-olds who also happened to have not taught their daughter to wrap it up who probably look way better. They may not be as well adjusted, but at least you won’t have to worry about talk of their bedpan coming up postcoitus.
