Lingerie model sets up drug ring with models as mules
Chris Spags We all know how hot chicks get away with WAY more than the average citizen, be it speeding tickets, free things, or my heart. But how about Angie Sanselmente Valencia, a hot model who’s accused of running one of the world’s biggest drug rings. Girl power indeed.
An international arrest warrant has been issued for the 30-year-old, who is suspected of recruiting beautiful women and using them to move drugs to Europe and North America.
Many of these women are believed to be other lingerie and glamour models who compete in international beauty pageants, whom Valencia describes as “unsuspicious, beautiful angels”.
She is thought to be on the run somewhere in either Mexico or Argentina. Her drug syndicate was exposed in December last year after a 21-year-old blew the whistle after being caught with 55kg of cocaine at Buenos Aires airport.
Investigators believe the beauty pageant winner quit modelling (sic) and left her native Colombia for Argentina to set up the empire last year.
I know running a multimillion dollar drug ring isn’t really a good thing by traditional standards, but you have to salute the woman’s creativity. As a woman whose job is to be beautiful in an industry which trades in older women for younger versions as soon as the first wrinkle appears, you have to find a way to make money. That means either running drugs or being a professional escort because, unfortunately, most of these women aren’t trained in anything else. So, if something bad is going to be shoved into your orifice, I’d much rather have it be a bag of cocaine than a 60-year-old corrupt politician. There’s a more quiet dignity in having a guy named Juan Marcos shove a balloon of heroin into you like a piñata than an old man with a ball bag that looks like overly chewed taffy.
