A lot of couples with trust issues end up snooping in each other’s email. Well, watch your ass if you’re attempting that one; a Michigan man with a cheating wife is now facing five years in jail after using his wife’s password to check her email.

people on laptop 309x195 Man facing five years in jail for checking cheating wifes email Leon Walker, a 33-year-old computer technician, checked in his wife’s email after suspecting she was having an affair.

Walker, Clara Walker’s third husband, was correct: Clara was having an affair with her second husband, a man who was once arrested for beating her in front of their young son.

Walker then showed the email to Clara’s first husband, the son’s biological father, to make sure he was aware of the situation.

Prosecutors are accusing Walker of being “a skilled hacker” and saying that he used her email in a “contentious way”.

Walker is being charged with a felony, typically reserved for identity theft or stealing trade secrets.

So, let this be a reminder…no matter what terrible choices your lady makes in her life, including ones that could lead to violence against her son, it’s never okay to look at her email. Unless the government has a hunch she’s a terrorist. Or if the RIAA thinks she’s pirating records. Or if the TSA is particularly bored. You know, the important stuff.
