Man forced to eat own beard after botched tractor sale

The sales industry is a difficult one. In a down economy, sometimes you have to hustle a little more to make the sale while other times it just won’t happen. And then other other times, you’re forced to eat your own beard by two people buying a tractor from you.

bearded man 309x182 Man forced to eat own beard after botched tractor sale Police say Kentuckian Harvey Westmoreland was trying to sell the tractor to two men for $250 when the deal went awry.

James Hill and Troy Holt felt like Westmoreland was trying to rip them off on the deal for the tractor.

Westmoreland told WLEX-TV, “Troy offered to buy it from me for $250 dollars. I paid twenty bucks for it. He thought I was trying to cheat him. One thing led to another, and before I knew it, there were knives and guns and everything just went haywire.”

Then, Westmoreland claims, the two men cut off his beard, pictured left, and forced him to eat it.

Hill and Holt plead guilty and are awaiting sentencing.

It’s so disappointing to hear that Kentuckians are conducting themselves in such an uncivilized manner. I mean when I think of Kentucky, I think of sophisticated gentlemen making deals over mint juleps and pleasant conversation. So to hear that there are some sort of “Deliverance”-esque shenanigans going on is truly troubling.

Plus that beard probably tastes terrible. If eating regular hair is a 1 on a scale of disgusting hair to eat, I think a Kentuckian with a tractor’s beard would have to be a 10, full of Fritos, moonshine, and latent desire for lynchings. None of those things are too tasty.
