Man jumps out of moving car to get away from nagging wife
Chris Spags When you’re a married couple, it’s important to keep your arguments at a detached level…when you let things get personal, it can lead to more serious problems in your relationship. So you can almost understand why one man in Tennessee opted to leap out of a moving car on the highway to get out of a massive argument with his wife. Almost.
According to a police report, the 23 year-old man, his wife, and their three kids were heading towards Clarksville, Tennessee when an argument broke out between the man and his wife.
The husband, seemingly attempting to be logical, told his wife to “shut up.” She did not. So he did what anyone would do…leaped out of their car speeding along the highway.
The man was transported to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center and was in critical, but stable, condition, according to The Leaf Chronicle.
I can’t say this guy is the smartest guy around, but it was certainly better than the alternative of belting his wife in the face with their kids in the backseat as they’re speeding down the highway. I’m not going to act like I’m Dysfunctional Relationship Jones, but there definitely are times where women, particularly headstrong ones, just go on and on well past the point where you’ve waved the white flag. They’re like lions picking at the carcass. And if you have a decent head on your shoulders, you obviously can’t do anything to her. So…you jump out of a car. Again, I’m not saying it’s logical…to quote Chris Rock, but I understand.
