Man tries to trade baby for beer and drugs
There are probably some people who shouldn’t have a baby. It’s hard to tell if you’re one of those people, be it due to immaturity or poor finances. But sometimes, the fates can teach you that, hey, maybe having that kid was a bad idea. Example: A Boston man who tried to trade his baby for beer and/or drugs.
Police claim 24-year-old Matthew Brace went to a gas station and offered a maintenance man his young baby in exchange for “40s.”
According to a WBZ report, “[Brace] said ‘For two 40′s you can have her,’” Chicopee Police Chief John Ferraro Jr. said.
The ambiguity comes from the fact that, according to police, 40s can also be slang for crack. Either way, it’s probably safe to say Mr. Brace should probably not be anyway near a child Or a flea market. The guy clearly has no sense of fair trading value.
