TikTok is slowly becoming the go-to spot for short life hacks that change the way people live.
People are learning how to get that nasty white stuff out of raw chicken and thanks to the “pee your pants challenge” people now know which friends to dump out of their life.
The video platform is now flipping the script on how people use garbage bags because we’ve all be doing it wrong and following the directions on the box.
Are there directions on boxes of garbage bags? It feels like one of those life lessons you just pick up from experience.
TikTok user chris.hhl posted this quick clip of the “correct” way to put a trash bag liner into a garbage can and people lost their damn minds.
Apparently, thousands of people were clueless about the hack. The video has 85K views and over 1K comments.

This hack is so interesting because a person is literally using a bag wrong, putting it over the can instead of stuffing it inside. But it seems to be working for people.
I’m not sure how well it would work for tall kitchen bags, but if you line small garbage cans with store bags, you’re going to have to try this right now.
Literally, right now. Go dump all the stuff out of your garbage.
