NASA’s Curiosity Rover Spots Glowing Light On Mars

On Sunday, we brought you the story of how the Curiosity rover may have discovered proof of life on Mars. Now there is a curious photo that shows a mysterious glowing light on the Red Planet. There are totally aliens on Mars.

NASA released an image of a bright white light on Mars. The Mars rover snapped a photograph on June 16 that shows a dark rocky hillside and there is an unexplained light shining in the distance.

WHAT IS THAT? Aliens? A UFO taking flight? Photos that were taken before the strange light photo and after do not show the glowing light. Because alien spaceships don’t stick around for photo ops.

Those who aren’t conspiracy theorists and don’t believe the light is a Mars alien base, say the light is probably a cosmic ray, a camera lens flare or sunlight reflecting on rocks. But those are all boring answers.

“In the thousands of images we’ve received from Curiosity, we see ones with bright spots nearly every week,” said Justin Maki, leader of the team that built and operates Curiosity’s navcams.

This is not the first time that Curiosity spotted an eerie light on Mars, On April 3, 2014, the rover caught something glowing in the background.

In November of 2018, Curiosity took another photo of an odd light, but NASA said that it was probably a meteorite, which is exactly what they want you to believe. “The planning team thinks it might be a meteorite because it is so shiny,” NASA wrote in mission update. “But looks can deceive, and proof will only come from the chemistry.”

The Curiosity rover landed on Mars in 2012 and has taken thousands of photos of the Martian landscape.

The Curiosity rover has 17 cameras total. It has four engineering hazcams, that help the rover avoid hazards and allow the vehicle to “think on its own” to maneuver around obstacles. There are two engineering navcams mounted on the mast that collect 3D images with the stereo cameras that provide engineers a view of the terrain.

The rover has two science pancams mounted on the mast and takes three-dimensional panoramic images of the Martian landscape. There is a science microscopic imager on the robotic arm that is used for taking macro photos of rocks and soil.

What do you think the unidentified phenomenon on Mars is? Aliens right?
