From the PBS documentary “A Midwife’s Tale” comes this harrowing bit of history that, well, may just leave you wondering if documentary filmmakers need to spend a little more time thinking about how the viewer will perceive their hard work.
In related news, this might be the first bout of an old, crippling illness you could crank it to. Unless FDR’s policies really stirred something inside of you that you didn’t know existed.
