Police tasing interrupts couple’s sex on a lawn
Chris Spags I’m sure we’ve all dabbled in sex outdoors here and there, perhaps emboldened by some alcohol and spirits. But one Washington man found himself getting interrupted by police during sex with a woman on his front lawn, then getting hit with a taser. Twice.
21-year-old Patrick Bergin was in the throes of passion with a lady friend on the lawn of a home at 2AM (it’s unclear as to whether that was either of their homes or not). A deputy was on a call for a report of loud music in a nearby home when he saw the couple doing their business on the lawn.
As the officer approached, the “highly intoxicated” couple quickly began to get dressed. Upon asking for ID, the woman Bergin was with screamed and ran away. Bergin then approached the officer and ignored the officer’s requests for him to sit down.
The officer said that Bergin looked like he was going to assault him, so he shot his taser at him. Bergin, presumably drawing extra strength from his blue balls, then ripped the barbs out and continued to approach the deputy. The second shot took him down.
Bergin was charged with suspicion of third-degree assault.
Look, it’s never okay to aggressively approach a cop. It always ends poorly. But I don’t think you can blame Bergin too much for this one. If someone interrupted me before I was able to get my rocks off, particularly when I was drunk off my ass, I don’t know what I’d do. But I imagine it would involve me yelling angrily or fall to floor while crying. Which, coincidentally, always happens after sex.
What would have been even better in this story though is if the deputy interrupted right at that crucial moment, leaving Bergin to leave a Map of Hawaii (© Jay Mohr) on his badge. You couldn’t blame the guy, but obviously, if I were an officer and someone skeeted on me, I’d be pretty upset. I guess what I’m saying is it’d be great if one of our dear readers would bust one onto a cop and see what happens. We provide you with so much here, help us out.
