Whether you’re for or against the US’s presence in various wars, I think there are few people who take that out on the troops who sacrifice time and their lives for their country. Unless you work at this Brooklyn McDonald’s, where employees beat down a disabled Iraqi war veteran for bringing his service dog into the restaurant.
A decorated disabled Iraqi War veteran is slapping McDonald’s with a $10 million lawsuit — claiming he was pummeled by employees at a Brooklyn franchise when he tried to bring his service dog into the restaurant.
Retired Army Capt. Luis Montalvan, 36, charges that workers at the eatery on 52nd Street and Fifth Avenue in Sunset Park pounded him with plastic garbage can lids, leaving him with neck and back injuries.
Montalvan, who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury, uses his golden retriever, Tuesday, to keep him calm.
In December, the ex-soldier who walks with a cane, went to the fast-food restaurant with his dog, and the workers allegedly began berating him.
“Employees started yelling, ‘No dogs!’ and ‘Get out!’ ” he told The Post.
