Supposedly there are no bad ideas when it comes to brainstorming. Just throw out whatever comes to your mind and see what sticks. Yeah, and whoever said that had to have been upper management and never been forced to sit around long enough in any kind of meeting to listen to the utter nonsense that comes out of people’s mouths. They kick off the meeting, tell the team to come up with the next big thing and then head to bar. Either that or your boss says it because he’s been told to let someone go and wants to see which employee is the biggest fucking idiot.
Right now there are no doubt hundreds, maybe even thousands, of people sitting around brainstorming about how they can cash in on this whole “Sh*t _______ Say” craze even though in most people’s minds it has already run its course. But that won’t stop anyone. OH NO! There are lots of people in this world, right? They all say shit, right? Surely THEY can come up with a funnier parody than all the previous parodies, right? There’s nothing more internet than attempting to cash in on someone else’s success. It’s the American way!
You know what I say? Memes are like assholes. Everybody has one.
