Spanish flight attendants strip for calendar to protest unpaid wages
Chris Spags Air Comet is a Spanish airline which went under in December and its flight attendants claim they went unpaid for up to nine months prior to that. So how are they opting to fix this problem? By stripping nude in a new calendar, naturally. See, ladies? Life is that simple.
Flight attendants owed up to nine months’ wages by a grounded Spanish airline have posed nude for a calendar to draw attention to their plight, one of the cabin crew turned models said on Wednesday.
The calendar, numerous excerpts of which appeared in the Spanish media, shows the Air Comet attendants, all female, posing provocatively in and outside airline cabins, and in one case on top of a jet turbine.
“We are just demanding our rights to receive what is ours, we each have eight or nine months of unpaid salaries,” attendant Adriana Ricardo, who appears in the calendar, told Reuters.

Just for contrast, here in New York City, to protest jobs going to non-union workers, local unions position a 20-foot-tall giant inflatable rat outside of buildings. So, let’s see…giant, inflatable, slightly terrifying rat OR hot, naked, Spanish women posed in airplanes. That’s a tough call. I’m assuming the inflatable rat would be an easier lay but then again, these are out-of-work flight attendants who may need help paying for their miniature liquor bottles. Sorry, America, Spain wins this one hands down.
I’m not sure where you can buy the calendar to help these ladies out (if you know, leave it in the comments), so if you see a lady walking around in the nude with a flight attendant hat and a tiny bag of peanuts, just throw her five bucks. Support the cause!
