In related news, during New York City’s great snowfall this week, we received no mail for two days. “In rain, sleet, or snow” indeed. This is compounded by the fact that my apartment is, no exaggeration, 50 feet from the Post Office. I’m surprised my mailman didn’t give us a Christmas card consisting of a napkin that he wiped his ass on.
