The world is really failing in intelligence today

Tiger Woods’ apology statement is obviously a huge story today, as you can see by our coverage. But the underlying story to that? The people searching about Tiger Woods’ statement, as evidenced by Google Trends, are f’ing retarded.

I get that not everyone is well-read or well-educated but people searching in that high of a volume for a relatively simple word like “transgressions”? Come on, world. It’s not like Tiger compared his predicament to the process of creating mitochondria or how when his head got hit by a club it was like onomatopoeia. I’m surprised that people weren’t also searching out “car” “tree” and “how do boys ‘make sex’ with girls”*.

*Answer: They tap their wiener on the girl’s butt and then three months later a stork makes her poop out a baby. Duh.
