    Like a lot of guys, I enjoy high-def TVs, enormous racks of BBQ ribs and the most comfortable sweatpants $15 can buy. Even better, I like all these things at the same time, if possible. Though these are also among the things women love, they also have a whole set of other interests that we'll never fully understand, given the depth and complexity of it's powerful grasp on the female psyche. I defy you to find one girl, female, woman or succubus who doesn't love at least one of these things.

  • 7 Shopping at the Mall

    The mall is a lot like a zoo; the guys at the wireless booth with the slicked back hair who call you over are the monkeys, the fat women trying to control their children at the food court are the hippos and the shameless couples who get into long drawn out fights in the middle of it all are those squawking birds. But, women brave this scene time and again in the pursuit of finding good outfits and sweet accessories. Okay fine, in the interest of not sounding totally sexist some of them enjoy purchasing hunting, wood-working and home improvement equipment too.

  • 6 Shoes

    Women have a foot fetish. There, I said it. And that fetish is a highly visual one where they dress their feet up with shoes and parade around in them. But a few pairs isn't enough, no, they need to have one for every occasion whether that's their "trip from the front door to the mailbox" shoes, their "office party" shoes or their "just shoppin' for tropical fish" shoes. To make matters worse, they notice things about our shoes that we don't.

  • 5 Flowers

    Flowers look and smell nice, but why do women like them as a gift? Maybe because they're aesthetically appealing and symbolic of love, (though I suppose that would have to do with what type of flower is being given)? At least we should get the hierarchy down; roses are for long term, tulips are for short term, posies are for "it's complicated" and dandelions are for one night stands.

  • 4 Chocolate

    Loads of men enjoy chocolate, but for some reason it can drive women ape-shit. Obviously not all of them are blatant chocoholics, but the ones who do go f'ing insane for it would probably mainline Hershey's chocolate syrup if it was medically viable.

  • 3 Celebrities' Lives

    What is it about famous people that's so mesmerizing to women? Is it because they can measure and compare themselves against the unfortunate ones to boost their egos? Is it because they aspire to be like the successful ones for the fun of it? Men may never know. But, thankfully we may never really care either.

  • 2 Singing/Dancing

    So many women love the idea of someone bursting into song and dance to convey their emotions. That's probably why they represent the core audience of so many Broadway shows. But it's not like drinking and watching performers dance isn't something guys like too (though that would happen in a strip club, not a theater so much).

  • 1 Salads

    I once went on a date with a girl who said she was watching her weight. So she ordered a salad... WITH SKIRT STEAK AND AVOCADO ON IT. As I sat there watching her sit on a butt so large that the mechanics of how she was able to actually SIT on it defied all conventions of physics, I thought back to the salad. See, I think we have a branding problem here. Lots of people think a salad is healthy just because it has some greens in it, but that's not always the case. Then again some women just love the shit out of veggies. And that’s okay too.
