Every year, Tompkins Square Park plays host to a Halloween dog parade featuring costumes ranging from tacos to hipsters. But this year’s event led to what is arguably the finest costume you’ll see this Halloween, a dog dressed as Antoine Dodson. Or Antoine Dogson, if you like catchy names.

I’m hopeful that this dog will be as effective in branding himself as the real Mr. Dodson is. I’m talking a line of iPhone apps, a hit iTunes single, the works. Just because you shit on the floor and spend hours a day licking your crotch doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a sound brand management philosophy.
