Chris Spags Were you concerned you don’t know how to spell “Nas”? Well A) I weep for you. And B) Check out this supercut from Slacktory that reveals the illustrious history of rappers spelling their names out in songs. It’s perhaps as prevalent as the rhyme scheme that allows them to combine “Mercedes” with “ladies.”
I’m just glad I know how to spell the “BIG” in Notorious B.I.G. now. I’ve been spelling it with an ampersand and wing dings for years.
