VIDEO: Adorable reporter says “pro boner” instead of “pro bono”
Chris Spags Having seen this clip which amounts to 20 seconds of the KOMU 8 Missouri newscast, I will avoid going out on a limb and say it might be one of the more terrible ones in the country. Alex Swoyer might be a fine reporter for all I know. But her dispassionate reading through this story combined with saying “pro boner” instead of “pro bono” make me think they might want to retool this show a bit.
And let this be further proof of why you don’t hire girls who look like teenage versions of Jon Benet Ramsey — with the verbal dexterity of the original one — to contribute to your newscast.
