Fun Fact: Women hate when you patronizingly call them “dear”. It’s just one of those things that reminds them of being forced to make pie and whatever. So, of course, people are up in arms after British Prime Minister David Cameron told a woman to “calm down, dear” during a parliament session. Skip to 0:59 for the breakdown.

Political adversaries are demanding Cameron apologize for his insensitive remarks toward the Member of Parliament, Angela Eagle. But, as you saw during the clip, Cameron doesn’t seem to be the apologizing type.

And to think that this would happen after the UK has progressed so far in its political dealings. This week alone they’re..uh…all watching a fake monarch marry a common woman for the right to call herself a fake monarch. You’ve come a long way, baby.
