VIDEO: Canadian anti-drug PSA has creepy puppets, lots of drugs
Chris Spags As an American, I thought the Cartoon All-Stars preaching about not doing drugs was as good as it gets. But after snooping around on YouTube, I came across this early 90s Canadian PSA teaching about the horrors of drugs and it’s truly a delight. With puppets!
I would be completely okay with those two little puppets getting hooked on drugs to the point that got fiercely addicted, vomited in their own mouths, and choked to death on their own puke like Jimi Hendrix. It couldn’t make them look any worse.
Plus if you’re a little kid, maybe you shouldn’t be hanging around in smoky loading docks. I don’t know how things work in Canada, though. Maybe dangerous loading docks are the equivalent of a McDonald’s birthday party in Canada. They have such a vibrant culture.
