VIDEO: CBS Chicago affiliate under fire for making 4-year-old look like criminal

CBS affiliate WBBM is going to have some problems after this clip going around that shows the news station heavily edited a four-year-old’s interview with a cameraman to make the child look like a criminal. Small problem: The kid said he wanted to be a police officer. Oops.

In CBS’s defense, who could have known what the kid meant when he said he “wanted to be a police officer”? Maybe that’s just code word for “super awesome gang banger who kills lots of innocent people”! It’s hard to keep track of all that crazy four-year-old slang.

Either way, I hope that kid got a new publicist. His image is going to need some damage control after this one. It’s a real black mark on your record.
