Chris Spags Foreign names can be difficult to decipher. But still, you’re likely to offend someone when you confuse their name for the opposite gender. That’s precisely what happens in this clip when CNN anchor Kyra Phillips assumes she’s talking to a Libyan woman, only to find out he’s a man.
Some reporter this CNN lady is. If she were knowledgeable about what she were talking about, she’d know that women don’t get to do things in Libya. Well, other than Gaddafi’s all-female bodyguard force. And we see how that one worked out.
