VIDEO: Georgia congressman worries about Guam “tipping over”

I don’t think anyone’s ever accused politicians of being the smartest people on Earth necessarily, but there are certain things they just shouldn’t do. Asking a question that an 8-year-old might ask in the middle of a congressional hearing about Guam would fall under that umbrella. Best part is around 1:20 of the clip.

Other questions asked by Georgia Congressman Hank Johnson:

-Where did your hair go, Mister?
-Are you going to take an airplane over there?
-Can I go too?
-Why not?
-Can I wear one of your medals?
-Is it nap time yet?
-Where’s my juicey juice?

Good work, Georgia. Just because you’re the Peach State doesn’t mean you have to elect people whose heads are as squishy and functional as the state fruit.

Congressman Hank Johnson, representing Georgia’s 4th congressional district, voices concerns regarding the posting of 8000 additional personnel on the island of Guam. I’m embarrassed for my state that this man was elected to office. [Reddit]
