VIDEO: Gigantic crocodile caught in the Philippines
Chris Spags Normally, a big crocodile getting caught somewhere around the world wouldn’t be a newsworthy item to me. But this is one REALLY BIG crocodile. Like the kind that should be wearing a hat and sunglasses and shilling for a juice company or something. Coming in at 21-feet long and over a ton in weight, this thing is a monster.
They say the crocodile ate one water buffalo and officials believe the croc may also be responsible for the disappearance of a fisherman in July. But I still feel bad for this big guy. Even if he didn’t eat that water buffalo and some fisherman, they probably would have wanted his head on the wall in a Philippines Applebees. There’s not a whole lot a 21-foot crocodile can do to dispel your prejudices. He could have been walking around giving out candy and mediocre hugs due to his poor arm length and it’d just get him the same fate. It’s sad.
According to wildlife officials, there may be an even bigger one out there still on the loose and traps have been set for it in the same body of water where this one was captured.
