VIDEO: Houston news anchor attempts to give the finger off-camera, fails
Chris Spags If ever there were a reminder that giving the finger is a fine art, take heed from KPRC in Houston’s anchor Owen Conflenti. He attempts to give the finger to a staffer off-camera during a live newscast. Small problem: His finger was in frame.
While he’s not as joyfully exuberant giving the finger as that Russian newscaster or outside the box as the BBC weatherman, it’s a masterpiece in a lack of awareness of being on TV and wide camera lenses.
It could have been worse. He could have been doing hilarious Puppetry of the Penis off-camera to antagonize one of the producers. It’d be like the Janet Jackson Super Bowl incident all over again…only sexier.
