VIDEO: ‘Jeopardy’ contestant has threesomes on her mind
Chris Spags Spoiler alert: The answer to this question is not “a threesome,” but that won’t stop a Jeopardy contestant named Kara from guessing it anyway.
Somewhere, a husband in a loveless marriage sits. He’s on his beaten recliner, weathered by years of usage through emotional isolation. Desperate to escape from a life that burned out long ago, he turns on his television. Flickering onto the screen is the local ABC affiliate. It’s an airing of this episode of Jeopardy. He looks up from his snifter of brandy when the question is asked. It’s like he’s in a dream, taking in a vision of a woman he once knew. He stares intently, witnessing the response of the vaguely recognizable woman in the hideous dress. Upon hearing the incorrect answer, he gazes over at his wife and mutters, “‘A threesome?’ That’s your answer to everything, isn’t it, Kara?”
He takes another oversized swig from the stemware. It’s all he has left.
