VIDEO: Keyboard Cat the toy is simultaneously as awesome and lame as it gets
Chris Spags Far be it from me to criticize a cat who achieved viral success a decade after he died, but I’m conflicted: I can’t decide if this Keyboard Cat toy is awesome or just lame. HELP.
And yes, it’s an official toy, made by the guy whose cat Fatso became the viral hit that is Keyboard Cat.
I’m all for making a buck while you can and, obviously, viral fame is fleeting, but there’s just something a little creepy to me about hawking a toy version of your dead cat gleefully bopping away. Either way, keep an eye on the official Keyboard Cat site if you want one of your own. Seems like a perfectly reasonable holiday gift for people you don’t care too much about.
