VIDEO: Local Fox reporter has problems with actually reporting the news
Chris Spags A reporter for the Fox affiliate in Cleveland was clearly not ready for his close-up, as evidenced by him taking ten seconds of him desperately fiddling with his microphone to get it functional for his live shot about high school kids.
Sure it’s fun to laugh it up and assume this is just a moment rejoicing in other’s failures. But I’d prefer to think that he was just trying to tell the news through mimesmanship. The fiddling with a defective microphone was symbolic of out country’s failures in educating our children, leaving them with no voice. Then his trembling voice shows that even those who rise from the ashes of our unjust institutions cannot deliver their message adequately. It’s really a cinematic triumph of a local newscast, if you ask me.
