VIDEO: Local weatherman gets ‘Ron Burgundy moment,’ enjoys the prank way too much

Any time a local news blooper is posted by the TV station who ran the clip, you just know it’s going to be pretty lame. This clip of Green Bay local news station NBC26′s weatherman Brian Niznansky getting the phrase “I love lamp” thrown into his teleprompter as a prank definitely falls within those parameters.

I sincerely doubt there’s ever been a good prank followed by a gregarious laugh, the prankee yelling, “You got me!” and more good natured laughter. A good prank should be followed by someone on the verge of tears. Or divorce papers being served. But this is the type of prank is the type of unfunny Midwestern nonsense that has ruined TV, movies, and life as a whole.

Then again, this is a city known for finding it endearing to wear foam blocks of cheese on their head proudly like they’re a tribe of Native American warriors. I don’t know what I’d expect.
