VIDEO: Mongolian nomads see a photo of themselves for the first time
Chris Spags The creators of this video, Vanessa Hollander and Wilson Philippe, were going on a motorcycle tour of Mongolia when, during their research, they found that many of the people they’d cross paths with had never seen a photograph of themselves. So they brought a Polaroid with them and got to taking pictures of the Mongolian nomads they crossed paths with. The result is entertaining.
Mongolia: Where the memories you have are priceless, but not as priceless as all of the Mongolian nomad souls you get to steal while they’re amazed to find out they have a pimple on their cheek.
I particularly liked how confused the little kid was. He definitely had that “Fry from Futurama meme” face going.
