VIDEO: Nude statue of David horrifies Texas neighborhood
Chris Spags A home in Abilene, Texas is being scrutinized by its neighbors for having a replica of the statue of David on its lawn. The statue’s cement dong is entirely too much for the neighbors to handle and, fortunately, KTXS is there to listen to their complaints.
The stupidest thing to me is the one mother who says her son asks “Mom what is that?” only for her to tell the reporter her reply is “Uh…what can you tell a child if you haven’t talked about sex yet?” How about you tell him, “That is the same thing you have in your pants, son. You see it everyday. If this question came from a daughter of mine, I might be somewhat flustered. But this really has nothing to do with sex. It’s a penis. It’s the thing you have that pee comes out of. We don’t even have to talk about babies or sex or anything like that. Because it’s just a penis.”
Personally, I’d be more offended that his house thinks that a fake statue of David is somehow “art”. The real one? Sure, that’s art. A replica made out of styrofoam and grey spray paint left on a poorly maintained lawn in Abilene, Texas? Not quite.
